After spending some days at the Intensive care unit(ICU),Mombasa based entertainer Luwi Capello was finally taken out of the unit over the weekend and transferred to a private ward at the Pandya hospital.
According to friends and colleagues who have so far visited him, he is currently recovering and there are some encouraging and positive news.
“He is responding well to medication. At least he can now eat, recognise some of his friends and even talk, this is good news to us as we continue praying for him” said Hassan Faisal of Coastal films.
“Our main appeal would be to other entertainment stakeholders and also political leadership especially in Mombasa, lets come together and do something about his medical bill which is currently high, his Mpesa pay bill number is 970172 and account name is LUWI . lets support our own. Luwi is part of us” he added.
On his part Pili Pili Fm presenter Gates Mgenge echoed Faisal’s sentiments calling on the stakeholders to stand with Luwi.
Gates Charged “As the industry players we need to stand with a brother. Luwi is one of the guys representing our industry in the national platform, he flies our flag as the people of Mombasa and this is the time to stand with him”
Luwi who is a cast with the Nairobi diaries and Maza series was hospitalised after being involved in an accident last week.
Several celebrities, friends and fans have been sending him recovery messages with some taking time to visit him at the hospital where he is currently under the watch of his parents and close family members.
