KTN’s Investigative journalist famous for his swahili Jicho pevu programme, Mohammed Ali has already started his political journey. The journalist who is eyeing the Nyali parliamentary seat currently occupied by Wiper’s Hezron Awiti was in Mombasa last weekend and decided to conduct a door to door campaign in Kadzandani, Kongowea and several boda boda points and the bunge la wazee to sell out his agenda especially to the youth.
According to one of Ali’s confidants, the journalist is banking on votes from the youths.
“His main agenda is the youth and that is why he has concentrated alot on them. His main call has always been the youths are not the leaders of tomorrow but today” said the confidant to Ommydallah.com
The source also revealed that Moha will be vying for the seat through ODM.
Others who have shown their interest for the seat include Said Abdallah ( Governor Joho’s relative) and Mombasa businessman Ashraf Bayusuf (from the Bayusuf family).
