Mombasa County Governor Hassan Joho has today come out to respond to the ongoing debate about his High School credentials.

There have been claims that the Governor, a heavy critic of the ruling Jubilee government presented a forged  examination result slip in order to continue with studies, pursuing a Bachelor of Commerce Degree in Human Resource Management. The said document from 1992 indicated that Joho scored a c+ in High School.

Addressing members of the press in his office today, Joho noted that he got a D- in KCSE arguing that it did keep him away from succeeding in life.

“I am a holder of D- but i have changed that to success. I have worked very hard to where I’m and I thank my God for that” noted Joho.

“Not doing well in School should not be the end of you and this should be used as an inspiration to others out there too” he added.

Joho accused the Jubilee Government of being behind his woes claiming that they are also in the process of investigating his birth certificate and that they have already been to his Nursery School as part of their investigations.

Joho asserted “Am aware that they are now investigating my birth certificate, you can as well go for my marriage certificate. They have also been to my Nursery Schools,Tom Mboya and Tononoka. Am currently being investigated by every institution in the Jubilee government”.

Joho who is set to report at Coast Regional Criminal Investigations office tomorrow for investigations into the forgery claims noted that the ongoing fights will not stop him from criticising the government.

“If they think that they will stop me from fighting for my people and telling the truth then they wrong my friend. I saw all these coming. Their main aim is to block me from getting into the ballot in the next elections but no one is going o take away what is rightful mine”
