We all have that person  who will look up to in terms of our career and one of the best moments in one’s career is when you get to meet that person who inspires you and shares some tips on how to be like them, successful.

Well, Tanzanian crooner Ali Kiba who has been in the County, Mombasa accompanying and drumming support for Governor Hassan Joho managed to have some time with a section of Mombasa artists.

In the meeting which was held at the little theatre, the “Aje” hitmaker revealed that he is a fan of Mombasa music but has always wondered why it does not penetrate into other markets.

“Am a fan of Mombasa music, there are alot of talents here but i have always wondered why your music never penetrates into other markets outside Mombasa” said Ali Kiba.

Ali Kiba also took the time to share some tips with  the artists who most of them were upcoming and admitted that they feel inspired by him.

“I just started as a song writer and not a singer but one of the producers saw my talent and insisted i record a song and since then i have never looked back. I always believe in hard work and discipline.  Make sure that you work hard  and most importantly never forget your God because with God nothing is impossible under the sun and also never let someone tell you that you cannot do it.” noted Kiba.

“Doing a collabo with an established or successful artist does not guarantee you success,  you have to work hard, even if you record with that established artist and your song is not good there is no way you will make it, the fans are the ones who are going to tell if you are talented or not and that is through the songs that you make” he added.
