Sakaja re-elected as chair of Kenya Young Parliamentarians association

Nairobi Senator Johnstone Sakaja has been re-elected as the Chairman of Kenya Young parliamentarians association .

Mwala Mp Vincent Musau was elected as the Vice Chair while Embakasi Mp Paul Ongili also know as Babu Owino elected as the Secretary General in elections held today at the pride inn hotel in Mombasa.

Nairobi’s Mountain view MCA Beatrice Kwamboka was elected as the treasury and Nominated Mp Gideon Keter as Organising Secretary.

Addressing members of the press while unveiling the new officials, Sakaja noted that top of their agenda will be building bridges and uniting all Kenyans.

Sakaja charged “You cannot build bridges without involving the youths, we will be in the front line in this issue, we will go round the country preaching unity and bringing our people together”

“On matters youth, we have agreed that there will be no any party affiliation, we will address them as one” he added.

The MPs also promised to fight corruption and ensure action is taken to individuals involved in the NYS latest scam.
