In a letter from the institution Vice Chancellor Professor Mohammed Rajab students and staff of the University were ordered  to go home untill further notice.

The letter reads “This is to inform all staff and students that the University has been closed until further notice. All students are therefore requested to vacate the university premises by 3:00pm today 18th February 2016,”.
