Trouble at Bandari FC. KPA disappointed by results, calls for an overhaul in club’s management

Mombasa -based Bandari football club is headed for a revamp before the 2018 Premier League kicks off.

A source within the club revealed that the club will undergo an overhaul in its technical bench and have a new look.

The source said the Kenya Ports Authority [KPA] which is the club’s sponsor  is disappointed with the team’s performance despite having what it takes to deliver.

The source revealed that the head coach Paul  Nkata won’t be affected by the radical changes at the club.

“The management has no problem with the head coach Paul Nkata who joined the club this year from Tusker football club,” the source pointed out.

The source also noted that the KPA management has resolved to hold a meeting with the club management to review the progress of the team’s performance .

“We won’t sit and watch the team’s miserable performance only to come to its rescue at the end of the season,” the source said.

The source further revealed  that the sponsor(KPA) held a crucial meeting after the team lost to Tusker and Chemelil Sugar football clubs at home.

“The KPA management has given the football club the freedom to do whatever is possible to salvage the team. It wants to see heads roll and a new squad before the start of next season,”  charged the source
