Video: I will not vote for Raila, declares Omar as he speaks out for the first time after losing to Joho

Former Mombasa Senator Hassan Omar has said he will not support NASA leader Raila Odinga in the coming October Presidential election.

Addressing members of the press for the first time after losing to Governor Joho in the last  election , Omar who was also the Wiper  party secretary general accused the party (Wiper) of being weak, meek and unfocused.

He also took issue with a section of wiper leaders who accused him of under performing during his tenure as the party’s  Secretary General.

He  handed his resignation letter to his party boss Kalonzo Musyoka last week.

“If it is about taking political responsibilities my party leader has Jubilee leaders right at his bedroom, Jubilee leaders were elected in Kitui. I urge people who were his allies to tread carefully” he argued.

Omar added ” I do not desire anymore for the Wiper leadership, it is weak, meek  and fluid”

He further revealed  that he will be making his next political move known soon after consultations calling on Mombasa residents to be ready for a by-election since he is challenging Joho’s election in court.

“I have the best lawyers working on this, i dont want to get into details about it but Mombasa residents should brace for a by-election” he charged.
