Jubilee Party (JP) Mombasa coordinator Farid Ahmed Swaleh has accused his party critics of wanting to discredit him before President Uhuru Kenyatta.
The businessman however maintains that he will still campaign for president Uhuru despite being fought by some forces inside the party especially from Mombasa.
“I have been loyal to the party and I will campaign for President Kenyatta’s reelection before the repeat polls,” he said.
Farid argued that he is the one who popularized the party in Mombasa and regretted that he is being sideline in party activities.
“I used my own resources to campaign for the party and the President in the county and other parts of the region at large but some people who played no role have started coming out to fight me” argued Farid
His sentiments comes just days after a delegation of Jubilee party candidates and politicians from the county attended a meeting with President Kenyatta and his deputy at state house Nairobi.
“All these people are just busy bodies and they cannot stop me from campaigning for Jubilee. I have been with this party from the scratch and my loyalty to the president is intact” argued Farid.
He further revealed that he will be launching campaigns for President Uhuru in the County after the burial of public works principal secretary Mariam El Maawy who died while undergoing treatment in South Africa.
